After another successful 48-hour, three-day outdoor rave this summer, Sawagi Festival has announced that its club edition, ethos, will be held on Friday, October 20. The headliner on the ethos floor on the 2nd floor will be Efdemin, a highly trusted name in the deep house and techno scenes and beyond. The event will be an opportunity to experience the cutting-edge tech house sound that has established a solid worldview of emotional and abstract music through WOMB's sound system, with many outstanding releases on such prestigious labels as Dial, Curle, and Liebe*Detail. DJ Sodeyama, resident of this event and who spun a four-hour music journey at this summer's Sawagi Festival, is also scheduled to take the stage on the same floor. On the patos floor on the 4th floor, Pillen, who runs Sables Mouvants, an event focusing on long sets by talented DJs in the underground scene in Madrid, Spain, will come to Japan. The lineup also includes Momo, who is becoming an indispensable figure in the Kansai techno scene; Qmico, who specializes in organic techno set who travel from outdoor raves to local venues; and Junya Yamamura, who presides over one of Tokyo's best acoustic events, Lift. And the logos floor on the 1st floor, a collaboration with annahme, an outdoor festival to be held in Kochi Prefecture at the end of October this year, will be held. The festival, which brings together talented DJs from all over Japan, will be led by Tokyo headliners Iori and Yamarchy, and will also feature Shunpei, who is no stranger to the Kochi local scene. Tsutomu, the president of ethos, will also add his musical touch to this special floor. This event will bring together in one evening true DJs who are trusted both at local and abroad.
