【 稀代の天才プロデューサーNujabesのトリビュートイベントが開催 】

2010年2月26日に36歳の若さで天国へ旅立った、稀代の天才プロデューサーNujabes（ヌジャベス）。
ヒップホップを軸にジャズやソウル、ハウスなどを取り込み、ジャンルを越境した唯一無二のサウンドが今も世界中で評価されている彼の8周忌を追悼するイベントが、2月24日（土）に表参道VENTで開催される。

公演当日は、Nujabesにゆかりの深い海外アーティストのPase Rock、Substantial、Marcus Dが登場するほか、彼のレーベル＜Hydeout Productions＞黄金期を支えたDJ Ryow a.k.a. Smooth CurrentやDJ Chika a.k.a. Inheritら国内DJたちも一同に集結して、Nujabes楽曲またはNujabesに捧げる関連楽曲のみをプレイする。

現代の音楽業界の流れとは裏腹に一切の宣伝活動を行わず、純粋に音＝作品のリリースのみで全世界のリスナーから絶大な支持を得たNujabes。

国境も世代も超えて、今なお賛辞の声がやまない彼の叙情的で美しい音の調べをぜひ会場で体感してください。


Tribute event for extraordinary producer Nujabes

On February 26th in 2010, this extraordinary Japanese producer made his way to heaven at the age of 36.

With a strong backbone of hip-hop, combining his style with jazz, soul, and house, he made the genre called "nuhabes". It has been 8 years since his death and we will make a memorial event at VENT.

Artists who were close to Nujabes : Pase Rock, Substantial, Marcus D, and with his fellow label team DJ Ryow a.k.a. Smooth Current and Chika a.k.a. Inherit from "Hydeout Productions" will play a lot of tracks from Nujabes.

Going in an opposite direction from the current music scene, Nujabes did not use any advertisement and purely devoted himself to music. This man was a legend.

Got support from any generation and literally all over the world, please enjoy his beauty of lyricism and tribute to this genius Nujabes.
