-SUPERFUNKTION: “A New Brand of Old School Funk”

Superfunktion, a mixture of old school P-funk and new school Jazz-Disco-funk, drive the audience top down, front seat, through the grooves of oscillation. Known for energetic live shows, infectious dance beats and soulful sexy ballads, Canadian Lead Singer Todd Shymko, backed by a tight unit of Musicians, blend genre and culture to create a signature style of hybrid funk.

スーパーファンクションはディスコファンクと命名したジャンルを築き上げるために
現在東京都中心のクラブやライブハウスで活動している。P-Funk、Discoといった
ダンスビートとグルーブ感、そして何よりもお客さんへのエンターテイメントサービス
を意識した音楽をカナダ人のボーカル「トッド・シムコ」がリーダーとなってステージ
を盛り上げる。日本人のプレイヤー達がバックバンドを務めているこのスーパーファンク
ションの音楽は文化もジャンルの境界線さえも超えた新しいスタイルのファンクミュー
ジックである。
