About the release...
Having travelled about 10,000 kilometers, this release is a one-time-masterpiece of its very own. It presents ten Japanese artists united in one collaborative release. If there’s one thing your digital record rack does not want to miss, it’s this!
And it’s not just a random Nippon selection. This release represents the perfect retrospect of an adventurous three-week techno tour by label owner Christian Schachta aka Syntax Error travelling through the underground clubs of Tokyo and beyond. Throughout his journey, he has met most of the releasing artists in person and experienced some great nights out with them in Tokyo, Saitama and Nagoya. So at least for him, each track comes with a very personal story. And if you listen closely, you will also hear it.
Since the electronic sound spectrum of these artists is enormously wide, we don’t want to go into detail concerning the style. Each of them stands on its own as exciting and exotic as it is. Together, they present a manifold cross section of the current Japanese techno culture – that makes you wanna board a plane to Tokyo right away. Do it now! Do it Japanese style!
