Dan Elliot （ダン・エリオット）はカナダ東海岸出身。１９９８年、大学卒業後すぐに日本へ移住し、大阪の地でDJとしてオリジナル・スタイルを確立してきた。来日４年にして、大阪随一のアンダーグラウンド・バー／クラブOasis LoungeをOpen。いつ行っても極上のサウンドを聴くことができるとして多くのクラバーたちに愛され、世界的にも有名なFrisky Radioでも彼のmixが取り上げられるなど、日本やタイのクラブシーンで活躍する足掛かりとなった。Oasis Loungeの成功に続いて、インターネット・ラジオ Oasis Radio を始動。日本でdance musicを放送する最も人気のあるインターネット・ラジオとして名をあげ、 “Progressions with Dan Elliot”は一番人気のプログラムとなっている。
13年間、関西のクラブシーンで第一線を走り続け、人、音楽、流行などさまざまな変化を独自の感性で敏感に感じ取りながら進化してきた彼の音楽は、progressive house & tribalからtech house & technoへと発展してきた。幅広い音楽を操り、常に完璧なmixと音楽でダンスフロアを盛り上げ、決してクラバーを失望させることはない。

Dan Elliot is originally from the East coast of Canada but made the move to Japan immediately after graduating from university in 1998. Four years after coming to Japan he opened the legendary Oasis Lounge in Osaka where he honed his skills and found his sound. From the incredible success of the “Oasis Lounge sound” came many opportunities for Dan. As well as having his mixes featured on world-famous Frisky Radio, his live sets came into great demand taking him all over Japan and Thailand. Following the success of Oasis Lounge, Dan started Oasis Radio which came to be the most popular internet radio station featuring electronic music in Japan.
Dan is now a resident artist at Alzar Osaka, where he continues to refine his sound. With this wide range of musical influences he never fails to bring that perfect mix of sound and vibe that always suites the party and gets people’s hands in the air.
