The Dojo Lounge on Park Row is the archetypal Bristol night club. Small, dark and sweaty, the club's music policy is inherently underground. With a focus on techno, house, dubstep and dnb Dojo's regular promoters include Intrigue, Just Jack, Freejive, Groove On and Beat*Bristol.
Guests in 2010 included Marcus Intalex, Josh Wink, Lee Mortimer and Adam Freeland. The layout is straightforward with 'the Dojo Lounge' wisely opting for a large outdoor seating area (covered and heated) instead of a typical Room 2. Dojos epitomises the 'intimate' club with a small dj-focused dancefloor and one of Bristol's latest licenses.
