TouchTheDJ has his origins in the danish underground scene since 2004 where he quickly made a name for himself by always dropping the beat at odd intervals, instead of even ones (which was far too mainstream). After a few years of solid underground club rocking, transcending music genres, pushing the envelope and thinking outside the box, DTD was scouted at a sold out event. This is untrue. Actually two individual scouts spotted the hapless talent and a fight broke out over contract signing this young burning artist. Once the scar tissue had healed, Plot-Device Records had on their hands the most promising up-and-comer since Frankie Wilde. And the rest as they say... is history.
Referred to as Europe's busiest music delivery system, this DJ gets things moving regardless of venue, genre, time, and material composition. The last part of the previous sentence refers to the infamous 2009 animated couch incident. REDACTED hosted a world-first club event at venue designed only for one specific event in the Alps. Construction material, equipment and even guests were all airlifted to this unrealistic event where DuckTapeDisco was headlining. Disaster struck as endorphin inducing sounds from DTD's latest set penetrated the surrounding inanimate objects and caused them to literally come alive and move to the beat. Since then, "Sound-too-good" (patent pending) filters have been a mandatory on DuckTapeDisco's rider contract, regardless of venue, organizer or cosmic muffin.
He's now taking Tokyo by storm, literally riding on a cloud throwing lighting at non-believers, and breaking new ground whenever he plays at a newly opened mall ground breaking ceremony. If you're lucky, you'll be attending his next event where he'll show you new worlds of sound, while simultaneously disproving hawkings unified universe theory and taking advice from an invisible carved wooden doll resembling Ed Harris.
