1995年 DJ活動スタート、間もなく渋谷CAVEでレジデントDJとして数々のパーティーをロック。1997年4月渋谷HARLEMオープンから7月まで土曜日NO DOUBTでレギュラーDJとして活躍。
同年7月、単身渡米。NYでのDJ活動をスタート。
NYではDJ KAORI、DJ HIRONYCらとともにCLUB SPEED, NV, LIME LIGHTを中心に数多くのビックパーティーをロック。1999年ブルックリンを拠点にすると同時に50 CENTらのマネージメントをするVIOLATORがマネージメントを担当、MIXTAPE DJとしてニューヨークのストリートをロックする。ストリートではあまりの人気に海賊版が出回るほど。一方、ROCA FELLA、DEF JAM、UNIVERSAL、INTERSCOPE等、大手レコードレーベルからも高い評価を受ける。
R&BスターAALIYAHの死後、MIX TAPE「MEMORY OF AALIYAH」を渋谷のMANHATTANレコードが逆輸入し限定発売したところ、即日完売。このMIX TAPEを皮切りにFLOURISHのMIX TAPEはニューヨークの最新のホットミュージックが体験できるという噂と共にひろまり、日本のMIX TAPEシーンへ。MEMORY OF AALIYAHをリリースした直後にリリースしたMIXTAPE 「What Woman Want」シリーズは計３タイトルリリースしたが、すべて１０００本限定リリースにも関わらず、すべて即日完売。ネットオークションでも当時相当の高値で取引されるほどの人気を博す。
2003年にはニトロ（DABO）のHITMAN JAPAN ツアーでツアーDJとして日本中のクラブをまわる。同時に東京ドームで毎年12月に開催される日産X-TRAIL JAMのメインDJを6年連続勤める。
その後、DJ FLOURISHはセレブパーティーを中心に日本、アメリカ、フランスを拠点に活動。
2007年12月、日本最大のストリートWEBマガジンUSTIMES.JPをプロデュース。毎月100万人以上がチェックするサイトに発展。2009年4月からサイトと平行してUSTIMES MIXTAPEを毎週2本という世界でもトップクラスのスピードでリリースし、あっという間にアメリカでも最も注目されるMIXTAPE DJの一人になり、MIXTAPE アワードにもノミネートされ、2009年9月にはアメリカで絶大な人気のウェブサイトThatcrack.comで 日本人として初の MIXTAPE アワード (Mixtape DJ of the Month)に選ばれる。アメリカでの注目度は更に高まり、遂には世界で最も売れてるHIP HOPマガジンXXLにもPICK UP DJとして掲載される。
現在はアメリカで最も人気のあるDJ集団COAST 2 COAST MIXTAPE DJsのオフィシャルメンバーとして最新音源をアメリカから提供され、アメリカ、フランス、日本に新たな風を巻き起こし世界のトップDJ としての地位を確立しつつある。
2009年12月にはマレーシアの新しいクラブMONO MONOにゲストDJとして招待されクリスマス、大晦日のビッグパーティーをロック。アジアへの進出も果たす。

DJ FLOURISH is Best Mixtape DJ of the month of September 2009 in U.S.A.
FLOURISH started his Career in 1995 in Tokyo, Japan and he had been DJ in couple of clubs. However, Hip Hop wasn’t big enough in Japan that moment so he decided to move himself to United States soon.
FLOURISH moved to NY in 1997, and he started DJ at local famous clubs like Club Speed, Club 205, NV, Shampoo, 40 Flavor, Caviar Lounge and so on. He began to work as regular DJ and spread notability gradually. On the other hand, he kept on releasing his MIX CD regularly in his neighborhood Brooklyn area.
FLOURISH came back to Japan in 2002, and he started to promote his own party “BASEMENT BOOTH” @ Shibuya Nuts every Tuesday. He promoted lots of big party besides “BASEMENT BOOTH” within a year. That made him to become the center of attention in the HIP HOP industry of Japan.
In 2003, FLOURISH was touring with one of the Japanese famous rapper DABO & BIG-Z all over Japan. He even proved his ability as a live DJ. His MIX CD provided music to the street of Japan. They were very popular in a lot of famous clothing store in all over Japan.
FLOURISH had article in “WARP MAGAZINE” which is one of the famous magazines in Japan. His pages are called “BASEMENT BOOTH TIMES” which were providing great information to the street. He provides STREET not only with hearing but also the visual stimulus. He is infallible required revolutionary existence in HIP HOP of present Japan.
FLOURISH had even DJ in one of the biggest stadium in Japan “Tokyo Dome” for the world class convention of snowboarding called “X-TRAIL JAM” in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
In 2007, FLOURISH started to manage dance academy with Phoenix who was tour dancer of Run DMC, Black Eyed Peas, and more...
In Dec. 2008, FLOURISH produced UStimes.jp. This website grow up really fast and within 6 month he got a million viewer each month. DJ FLOURISH had been official member of Coast 2 Coast Mixtape DJs since 2009. He was elected to Mixtape DJ of the Month of Sep. 2009 on thatcrack.com.
