Hailing form Leipzig, Germany, Kassem Mosse's music takes its cue from the likely and unlikely Techno capitals of Detroit, Chicago, Manchester, Berlin and Vienna without falling into the trap of simple reproduction of particular local styles. His first solo EP for Workshop illustrates this approach with its unusual amalgamation of various electronic styles, from Electro to Deep House and Techno. His 12" releases have received international recognition and have been compared to anything from Theo Parrish, Andy Stott, Basic Channel, Nightmares on Wax to "Surgeon played at the wrong speed" (boomkat.com). Mosse champions a rough idiosyncratic sound with little concern for functionality and genre conventions, performing live since 2003 and playing at various venues through Europe. His productions have been supported by Marcel Dettmann, Tama Sumo, Redshape, Tibcurl, Norman Nodge, Tama Sumo, Cassy, XDB, Move D, Ame, K-soul, PDR, Philip Sherburne, Lerosa, Andy Stott, Octex, Chaton, Ripperton, Murat Tepeli, Ryan Elliott, Peter van Hoesen, Modyfier, Ellen Allien and Damian Lazarus among others....
