Steve Blake is a British music producer, DJ and events organiser.
His interest in dance music began in the early 1990's producing white-label techno and house music in the U.K. Working on solo projects and through collaborations he released early tracks under the names Statik, Powerhouse and Groove Nation.
His involvement in dance music events began in Manchester in the 1990’s, including club nights at
Sankey's Soap and Holy City Zoo. Later, working with Liverpool based Cream, CreamFields and Leeds based Up Yer Ronson.
In Tokyo he has been a guest DJ at venues including Womb, Air and Club Asia. He is a Resident DJ and co-organiser of the monthly club event and radio station NATION.
His other U.K. related activities include sound editing, boom operating and video editing on BBC and ITV drama and documentary.
