ロンドン在住の音楽プロデューサー、Jun Fukunagaによるソロプロジェクト。これまでにHouse, Electro, Techno, Progressive House, Bass MusicなどのオリジナルEPをドイツ、イギリス、アルゼンチン、ベルギー、タイ、アメリカ、日本、イタリアなどのダンスミュージックレーベルからリリース。

リミキサーとしても積極的に活動中。その作品はJuno download, djtunes.comなどヨーロッパベースのデジタル配信サイトの上位にランクインすることもしばしば。

また2011年、世界のトップクラブとして名高いイビザのクラブ、Amnesiaが運営するRadio AmnesiaがKing Jackal/U ask for me - Lady Citizen Remixをエアプレー。改めてそのトラックメイキングのクオリティーを証明する事になった。

現在は目下、AN/AY(JPN)よりリリース予定の自身の2nd CDアルバムと2012年発売予定のプロデュースアルバム制作中。


2009年はリミキサーとして２０曲を越えるアーティストオフィシャルリミックスがリリースされ、そのうちAudiofetish/Berlin endlos(Lady Citizen Remix)Beatsdigital Technoチャート２位(Apr/2009), Victor Torres/In my house(Lady Citizen Disco dub remix)、Trackitdown.net' House(Deep)チャート５５位(Feb/2009)、Kaz Nishimura/Loverevo(Lady Citizen remix) Juno download Electro チャート８４位(Jun/2009)にランクイン、またオリジナル曲Sunset Loopを収録したANBLコンピレーションCDはTower Record, Amazonで即日完売、HMVのクラブチャート２４位にランクイン、そしてベルギーのG PointからリリースしたMetallic Disco chainsaw EPはwasabeat Electro House チャート１０位にランクイン。

Straight out of the Kyoto dance scene emerges the much sought after talents of lady Citizen, AKA Jun Fukanaga.

At the age of 18 Jun received an acid house compilation CD, inspiring a love for club techno and sparking a talent for DJing around his local scene in Kyoto, Japan.
After getting ahold of some music making gadgets, Jun produced a number of tracks under several different guises and collaborations before moving to Australia in 2005.

After getting invloved in the electro scene in Melbourne, Australia, Lady Citizen was born as Jun’s DJing prowess became ever more popular around the local club scene playing a variety of club styles. With this mish-mash of different techno styles Lady Citizen started to produce a truly unique sound, gathering elements from all styles of dance music.

Jun moved to London in May 2011. Recently, the Lady Citizen remix of King Jakal's U Ask For Me has been getting airplay on Radio Amnesia, the radio show from the world-renowned Ibiza club Amnesia.
This goes to show the high quality of the track making.

Jun is currently working on the 2nd Lady Citizen album due for release in 2012, and the 1st Lady Citizen produced album.
