神奈川のアーチスト、OQTO（オクト）。
クラブミュージック界隈での活動は古く、
アブストラクトやエレクトロニカ隆盛の時代から活動。
ヨーロッパ各地やインド在住の経験があり、
生のレイブカルチャーやダブのサウンドシステムカルチャーに
も影響を受ける。
クラブエイジアのコンピレーションへの参加や
坂本龍一のStop Rokkashoプロジェクトへの楽曲提供を経て、
2006年よりダブステップ色の濃い楽曲制作を開始。
スペイシーなシンセを中心とした有機的なサウンドに、
ロウなドラムや怒濤コンフューズビーツ。
BBCのMary Ann Hobbsの番組で紹介されるなど
本場での知名度もあり、Sub FM、Brap FM等の常連でもある。
2008年"BASS,SPACE&BEATZ"発表。

Hiroshi Yamauchi as known as OQTO, born in Fukuoka,living in Kanagawa/Japan. Been in the scene since the abstract and electronica were banging. Has experienced living in Europe&India, the raves and dub sound system culture there that he is a realistic guy as a master of music. Joined the compilation of Club Asia, dedicated tunes for Ryuichi Sakamoto's project, 'Stop Rokkasho' and been making tunes colored as Dubstep since 2006, what he is spreading out is the organic sound surrounded by lots of spacy synthesizer with the low drum and rough confusing beats. His work has been lifted up for twice in the UK scene by BBC/Mary Ann Hobbs and also been a regular of the underground radios such as Sub FM and Brap FM. After releasing the album "Bass,Space&Beatz",owns base studio Bassab.Thee Wobburz is his mainly project to realize next something new there.
