Starting off in 2017, Chicago-based DJ and producer Taihei started in the EDM genre. In his works, he has been experimental in combining glitch and electronic elements with Trance in his remix of Hikaru Utada & Skrillex’s ‘Face My Fears’ (Kingdom Hearts III), and he has also remixed R&B artist The Weeknd with his track ‘Too Late’, the latter which has garnered support from W&W protégé Maurice West, on his EUFORIKA Radioshow on SLAM! FM in the Netherlands.
In 2020, the uprising talent from the United States entered into the Big Room/Trance scene with his remixes of Zedd’s 2020 discography (Funny with Jasmine Thompson, and Inside Out with Griff), where it was supported by Maurice West, R3SPAWN,as well as from underground acts such as Kaotix, and G-Sus.
Since then, Taihei has been working on original tracks and festival remixes that combine his signature ethereal, chaotic sound. With his ambition and pursuit in propelling this new sound of Big Room in the United States, there’s no sign of him stopping anytime soon.
