Nicky Fraser has been tweaking and twiddling with analogue synths and drum machines for many years.
Raised on a diet of classical music, she embarked on a journey to find something different, and found so much, but it was the club scene that felt most like home. Armed with a sampler, and a growing collection of analogue synths and drum machines, she began creating quirky electronica, as one half of Compuphonic.
With no record deal in sight, Nicky turned her attention to her other passion, films, and produced the soundtrack for 3 independent films, one of which, "The Planet" is in worldwide distribution.
In 2000, when she began DJ-ing, she created the moniker DJ Lunik, and has established herself online and locally as a DJ of worthy note.
She gained her first residency at the nightclub Kef, where she had the freedom to stretch her musical muscle, playing 4 hour sets. She later turned this into her own night, "KETchup", along with friends Darryl James and VJS2.
