Raime are Joe Andrews and Tom Halstead, a mysterious electronic duo from London of which very few details are known. Since their self-titled debut EP from late 2010, released on their own label Blackest Ever Black, many things have been said about them. Their sound is on the almost impossible crossroads of dark dubstep in the vein of Shackleton, witch house and industrial techno. It's no coincidence they have been compared on many occasions with British Murder Boys, as their tracks sound like a slow-motion version of the Birmingham duo's music. And the similarities don't end there: in 2010 they released “If Anywhere Was Here We Would Know Where We Are” including a Regis (of BMB) remix. In November 2011 a new EP came out, “Hennail”, less turbulent than usual and embellished with a sleeve that has made history with its terrific beauty.
