Lee Spence aka Ellesse, is a ferociously dedicated and brilliantly talented young man on the cusp of undoubted and uncapped successes…


A respected artist for both his esoteric productions as well as his notoriously inimitable dj performances, and amongst the most innovative and forward-thinking flag-fliers for the house and techno scene in the UK today.


A Mancunian through-and-through, the maestro behind the infamous Kaluki parties has utilised an eclectic background and a strong sense of ‘home’ to become one of the brightest stars in the plethora of talent emerging from the city in recent times.


A Sankeys resident for the past 7 years, and an integral part of their 2011 World Tour means Ellesse’s name is already synonymous with one of the most reputable club-brands anywhere in the world.

A regular on the White Isle for numerous years, culminating in a hectic 2010 season with performances at the legendary Space and Pacha venues, as well as the hottest ticket in daytime partying on the Island, The Zoo Project.


Since 2007, Ellesse has made exciting ventures into production resulting in high-profile releases on MUM and Bid Musik gathering strong support from across the globe.


2010 witnessed the birth of his own label - Kaluki Musik, dedicated to outputting the best in underground house music. Already experiencing some great successes, if the progression of Ellesse is anything to judge by, this stable will be a key player on the UK scene and beyond.


Lining up week-in-week-out amongst the biggest names the scene has to offer wasn’t something that landed at his feet, Ellesse can credit his tireless passion for quality underground electronic and instinctive connection to the dancefloor for his successes.


Looking to the future, things look to be heading in a similar direction. With a latest release scheduled for release on Brooklyn-based Inmotion Records and receiving some Steve Lawler wizardry on the remix, things are on the up-and-up for Mr Spence.
