ソウルのファンクマスターDJ Conan。バトルDJに魅了していたConanは2004にJazz/Funkバンド “Sweet Lime”を始める。伝説のクラブ “Bar Nana”で始め、自分のルーツ Old Skool, Funk, Disco を極めるためレーベル “Break Bakery”に加入する。彼のユニークなミクシング、スクラッチ、エフェクトが韓国のDJシーンに影響を及ぼし、 Afrika Bambaataa, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Cold Cutなど豪華アーティストとも競演を果たす。ギャラリーイベント、ファッションショーなどの音楽ディレクターとして動くConanの音楽活動はエンドレスだ。

Seoul’s finest funk master DJ Conan! As a child, Conan was fascinated by battle DJs and starts a project Jazz/Funk band “Sweet Lime”in 2004. His career as a DJ starts at a legendary venue, “Bar Nana” and soon teams up with a local label“Break Bakery to go even deeper into the roots of Old Skool, Funk, Disco and more. His unique style of mixing tracks while scratching and effecting has brought an awareness towards Korea’s DJ scene, which led onto shows with Afrika Bambaataa, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Cold Cut and more. As a music director for gallery events, fashion shows and even x-sports, Conan’s musical activities seems endless.
