京都府綾部市にて2012年に結成、現在都内を中心に活動中の Alec(gt/vo) Ric(key/vo) Chew(gt) Syu(ba) Bob(dr/vo) からなる５人組。
音楽スタイルはルーツ志向でありながらロック、サイケデリック、エキゾチカ、ダンスミュージック、ニューエイジ、インプロヴィゼーションなどを独自の色彩で融合したもので、会場や時間帯によってバンドの音楽性を軸に幅広いジャンル、編成で活動中。
近年はFestival de FRUE、いのちの祭り、rural、御月民、水と木の祭り、PURE RAVE、Wonderfruit Festivalなど、国内外の多数のフェス、レイヴに出演。
その場の空気とムードに合わせて演奏する即興音楽の精神を取り入れ、音楽的な実験と探究を続けている。
Formed in 2012 in Ayabe, Kyoto, HAPPY is a 5-piece band consisting of Alec (guitar/vocals), Ric (keyboards/vocals), Chew (guitar), Syu (bass), and Bob (drums/vocals).
Their musical style is roots-oriented, fusing rock, psychedelic, exotica, dance music, new age, improvisation, and more with their own unique color palette.
They have performed at numerous festivals and raves in Japan and abroad, including Festival de FRUE, Inochi no Matsuri, rural, OTSUKIMI, PURE RAVE, and Wonderfruit Festival.
They continue to experiment and explore musically, incorporating the spirit of improvised music, playing in accordance with the atmosphere and mood of the place.... More Biography
