Kulage (SECTION NINE)

Kulage is a Tokyo-based DJ duo consisting of STANLLIE and BARBIE, originally formed in
Fukuoka, Japan in 2015. Centered around techno, their DJ style fuses heavy basslines,
intricate rhythms, and emotional melodies to create an immersive groove-driven experience
that electrifies the dancefloor and captivates audiences.

They have delivered standout performances internationally in countries such as the United
Kingdom, Croatia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, gaining recognition for their ability to
connect with diverse crowds through a universal musical language.

Since relocating to Tokyo in 2022, Kulage has continued to appear at a wide range of
events, from intimate underground sessions to major club nights. They also organize and
curate their own techno party series, SECTION NINE, held bimonthly on the VIP floor of
WOMB Tokyo—one of Japan’s most iconic clubs. The party is set to celebrate its 2nd
anniversary in 2025.

As producers, Kulage has released music on some of the most respected labels in the global
