O-MAN is a DJ, producer, and sound director based in Osaka, Japan.
With a unique focus on the entertainment aspect of club music, he crafts genre-fluid sets that blend elements of psytrance, techno, and house—building heavy, emotionally charged grooves that captivate audiences both in Japan and internationally.
Since the early 2000s, he has performed at major festivals and venues including SUMMER SONIC, Nagisa Music Festival, and UMF Korea, while sharing stages with global icons such as Martin Garrix, Astrix, Vini Vici, and Calvin Harris. From 2006 to 2014, he was consistently ranked in Japan’s leading music magazine LOUD’s Top DJ lists, firmly establishing his presence in the scene.
As the producer of the legendary Japanese dance-music project ALKALOID, O-MAN helped pioneer the trance-dancer movement in Japan. He also performs as a live act with actor Issei Ishida in their collaborative band project PRISM MIND.
While rooted in the underground club culture, O-MAN expands his creative output through music production for fashion shows, visual media, and cross-genre collaborations. He continues to evolve his artistic direction while running a DJ academy and curating events aimed at shaping the next wave of nightlife in Japan.
