ALKALOID Dancers
Produced by DJ O-MAN in collaboration with the Japanese famous actor Issei Ishida, this unit was born from the concept of“Cool Beauty Japanesque”and continues to make an impact in the club scene with their innovative performances that feature their live style together with DJ O-MAN or performances featuring the dancers and their fresh style alone. They have traveled all across Japan with their original style and have even performed at multiple big parties and festivals both inside and outside of Japan!
From New Year parties in China to Korea, they have been active abroad in various countries and successfully conducted six public performances during their “ALKALOID Taiwan Cross-Country Tour”. Even in Japan, it would be no exaggeration to say that ALKALOID are responsible for building up the four-on-the-floor dancer boom that has taken the nation by storm!
But that’s not all! The ALKALOID dancers also have experience working as backup dancers across all manner of genres, including Ferry Corsten, Infectedmushroom, as well as Calvin Harris, and have also worked as official party dancers for Red Bull and other such organizations. At Summer Sonic 09, the unit also performed “N.A.S.A” on the dance stage in both Osaka as well as Tokyo and have recently conducted performances at Ultra Music Festival Korea 2014 and Ultra Music Festival Japan 2014 in collaboration with the Cyber Japan Dancers. In 2015, they are performing in promotional commercials for the world-renowned artist, Pitbull.
