In May 2010 Anna came third in the Next Girl DJ UK finals.
When she's not busy making fancy dress costumes for small animals or stuffing beavers (she is a keen taxidermist) Anna loves nothing more than spinning tunes and dancing like a mentalist.....and eating cheese!
Growing up Anna was the only real musical one in her family and desperately wanted to learn how to play a "cool" instrument. Unfortunately at the age of 10 her parents bought her a trumpet. Being a good daughter she persevered and became pretty damn good at it. The trumpet playing eventually wore off but her love for all things music didn't. She recalls crouching over her Hitachi tape deck, putting together mix tapes and recording songs from the radio almost religiously (plus recording herself on high-speed dubbing to make herself sound like a chipmunk.....we've all done it)
Her first foray into the world of dance music came about in the mid 90's when she would naughtily sneak into over 18 nights and go to school with a hangover!
By 1997-8 she was a regular raver at Slinky @ The Opera House where world renowned DJs such as Carl Cox, Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier would entertain the masses. She became obsessed wit... More Biography
