Death Cab for Cutie have announced the release of a new album titled "Kintsugi" which will be available from March 31. The album is their first since 2011's "Codes And Keys" and the departure of founding member and guitarist Chris Walla. The album title was inspired by the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery with lacquer resin dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver or platinum which as a philosophy, treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
