Ioannis Ntouskos (Dousk) is a highly acclaimed Greek producer/dj and remixer, and is one of Greece's biggest dance music exports. A person who these days really doesn't need an introduction after numerous dance floor monsters spanning all over the globe and being sponsored buy all the top of the crop DJ's you can imagine.

Having completed his studies in classical, jazz, electronic music production and audio engineering - he started his career as a music producer for radio and TV advertisements.

His influences originate mostly from the electronic genre, whether it be 60's and 70's psychedelia and experimental electronic music, late 70's disco moving to 80's progressive rock and avant-garde electronic music - or even 90's techno and breakbeat among other dance music forms. Being an avid fan of technology and computer games, he finds influence even in the music of these games and also at computer demo soundtracks.

Seeking happiness through variety, his compositions fall mainly into two categories: Dance music (Prog/Tech House & Techno) and Experimental (Ambient, Downtempo, Abstract, Industrial).

Dousk shot into the consciousness of the dance nation and gained everyones immediate attention with his EP on Bedrock - which was one of Bedrocks best ever EP's and all 4 tracks were nothing short of brilliant. In fact, most DJ's at the time even managed a way to fit all 4 tracks into their one set!

Shortly after the release of that EP cane his debut album D.I.Y with roots definitely revolving around the Progressive House/Trance genre, where he served up some very tasty melodic and driving tunes for the pallete. It is still considered to this day as one of the top 3 progessive house albums. His second album "Kind Of Human" clearly demonstrates that his talent is not restricted to the electronic vibe, blending many genres together; Acid Jazz, Blues, Funk, Downtempo and House, which managed to get him all over the TV & radio ad space, including popular shows such as CSI and My Name is Earl.

In between all this he has released many tracks and remixes in partnership with Vapour Recordings/eVapour8 and other highly acclaimed labels, of which almost all of them have appeared in Beatports Main top 10 charts and/or the top 10 genre charts.

His remixes are tight and unbelievably well produced and his own DJ skills are incredibly smooth too. He constantly manages to put hands in the air and big smiles on everyone's faces! Dousk is a man in high demand right now so if you get the chance to hear a dousk DJ set in your city, or a dousk production anywhere, you have been advised do check it otherwise you will be missing out on a piece of musical genius!
