Șerb (Șerban Ilicevici) is a music producer and performer based in Bucharest, Romania. Hailing from the DIY scene in Craiova he has been part of the band Nihilistic and post rock duo Semiosis, playing two European tours with the first and releasing two full length albums with the latter.
After spending his formative years in Craiova as a musician and DIY event organizer, he moved to Bucharest where he co-founded the listen2me record label, releasing his first solo EP Transient Recs 1. The EP was well received and he was contacted by Jurgen Vonbank of Night Defined Recordings and Cosmin TRG of Fizic to produce releases on their labels, his contact with Vonbank generating a long term collaboration with him and the label. His latest album, Short-Term Emotional Memory Loss is released on Beach Buddies Records, a Romanian avantgarde label.
With a career in professional sound engineering that spans over 15 years, his artistic work revolves around live performance and live recording both on a practical as well as a philosophical level.
