I wanted to make an interlude to split the album in half and was digging in my sample collection searching for a nice bit of spoken word. When I heard these lyrics I was immediately sold and knew it only needed piano, strings and choir to accompany it. I wanted to focus on the message here and give it as much feeling as I possibly could in one minute.
