Under the concept of modern funk and R&B musical contents with lyrics containing philosophical message, the four girls of Philosophy no Dance started
their careers in 2015 with the production of Keitaro Kamo, producer who has discovered numerous famous artists.
They have become a hot topic because of their high musicality and singing techniques which cannot be commonly seen among girl groups.


In 2017, ‘DANCE FOUNDER’(from 2nd album ‘The Founder’), a catchy dance tune that looks back on the history of music, took 1st place on
Spotify Viral 50 and kept its position for 2 days, which was the first time ever for a girl group in Japan.

In 2018, ‘It’s My Turn / Live Live’ took 1st place on Oricon Daily Chart and 7th place on Oricon Weekly Chart.

In 2019, Philosophy no Dance successfully performed “Glamorous 4 Tour” in 10 locations around Japan, which was the biggest national tour they’ve ever done.

Even before debut, the girls have been appearing on TV show “The Clan of Philosophy no Dance (TV Asahi)” and had performed with famous girl groups
such as Morning Musume ’20 and Momoiro Clover Z in TV show “RAGAZZE! (NHK).”

Mixing funk, soul, and disco music, Philosophy no Dance’s high-quality tunes and performances have gained much admiration from many music fans.
In 2020, Philosophy no Dance is finally making its major debut from Sony Music Labels!
The girls, each with their own philosophical charm, are going to create a stir in the music industry!
