The Global Float is a silent disco that brings together hundreds of people around the world in a coordinated dance party!
Tired of going to crammed clubs? Download our 90 min global playlist on your MP3/smartphone and we’ll dance through the entire city of Shibuya together. All you need is a music playing device to download the playlist and your earphones. It’s all free :) The party starts when we all hit play in unison on our individual music players.

This year the we will have dozens of floats around the world. Hundreds of people will be dancing to the same mix throughout South East Asia, Africa, Europe, and the US, cutting across all time zones, keeping the dance going for 24 hours on July 18th.

Place: Meet in front of Tsutaya Starbucks on Shibuya Crossing

3. Come ready to dance before 9:00pm at the Shibuya Crossing. Float will start at 9:00pm sharp!
4. Follow our Float Leaders through our pre-determined route
5. Share the event as you participate, spreading joy and mayhem. Tweet photos with the hashtag #globalfloat and join the shared stream of dancers around the world
