The party Compass, organized by Tokyo-based label/creative collective Hole And Holland, WOMB resident party Complexstore, and Hand Pan player and producer Reo Matsumoto of Forest Beat Studio, will celebrate its momentous first anniversary at Womb on July 12th (Friday).
Compassd has welcomed international artists such as Dengue Dengue Dengue and Balam as headliners, creating great parties with resident DJ crew Hole And Holland and Reo Matsumoto.
Adding flair to the significant first anniversary is SPANIOL, a figurehead of the São Paulo underground scene, who is currently based in Berlin and will headline this event.
The lineup for each floor includes KZA, whose unique approach to dance music is highly regarded worldwide; Sunga, whose recent "Long Beach Rising" EP continues to rock dance floors across Japan every weekend; DJ Shibata, known for spinning deep and cutting-edge dance music on vinyl; Stillmoment, a DJ from Fukushima now renowned across Tohoku; Taihei, a DJ/Producer from the deepest parts of Nagoya's underground scene who masterfully controls the floor; and the music duo Gizmo, consisting of Rave Racers members Warai_motoko and UG.
From Hole And Holland, members Mamazu, Yo.an, Fushiming, and Haruka Katagata will gather, along with Reo Matsumoto, who has furthered his career in Europe, joining them.
