LA-based top remixer Them Jeans hits Le Baron de Paris to headline an event showcasing Hoshina Anniversary, Teddy Loid and Takeru John Otoguro, all hot upcoming acts signed to TCY Recordings, the new label run by m-flo’s ☆Taku Takahashi. It’s going to be a night of innovative sounds and lots of fun.

Them Jeans (Dim Mak)
Los Angeles-based Jason Stewart-a.k.a. Them Jeans-provides a rocking mix of electro, rock, and disco tunes, along with a little Fleetwood Mac and Radiohead. Stewart is widely known for the numerous edits (ie. yelle, ratatat, radiohead, m.i.a. and more) and mash-ups he’s sent to every corner of the blogosphere, his work as a graphic designer, and his remarkable height. He is also a resident at the ever famous Dim Mak Tuesdays at Cinespace at LA w/fellow DJ and Host Steve Aoki, which has seen the likes of chromeo, the teenagers, digitalism , well too many to list really.

Takeru John Otoguro (TCY Radio Tokyo)
Paris-born DJ and event organizer Takeru John Otoguro was raised between Japan, Thailand and the UK. He began working in the Nu Jazz and Crossover scenes in 2003. Kyoto Jazz Massive’s Shuya Okino produces events called Tokyo Jazz Meeting and Jazzanova, which released a mix CD titled “JAZZNOVA …Mixing” and Otoguro was the front act for it. He spins breakbeats, house, techno, electro, hip hop and drum ‘n’ bass. He has run the event Absolute!! At Aoyama’s LOOP for three years since 2006. He produced Japan tours for bands Spiritual South and Simbad. He is resident DJ at Tachytelic, the regular event run by m-flo’s Taku☆Takahashi at Air, as well as BASS-MENT at LOOP. He also works as a writer.

Hoshina Anniversary (TCY Recordings)
Hoshina Anniversary is signed to TCY Recordings, the new label fro m ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo. His debut track “Dangerous” was the top-ranked track on Japanese download site WASABEAT for three weeks in a row. No doubt he is set to release many more wild, floor-filling tracks that ingeniously mix rock and electro. Having done remixes of Lady GaGa, The Bloody Beetroots, Mr. z and others, he is steadily gaining recognition outside Japan.

Born in 1989, Teddy Loid is a young talent whose sound is steeped in French electro. Besides working as a DJ, he also operates as a music producer and remixer. He is signed to TCY Recordings, the new label from ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo.
