From the beautiful area of Miyazaki on the Island of Kushu comes Gille. Covering hit song "Flying Get" by AKB48 and songs by other Japanese and international artists, all in english and released only on youtube disguised in silhouette, gained over 1800000 views in the first month.In July of 2012 Gilles` major debut album "I Am Gille" was released to critical acclaim subsequently selling more than 100000 albums. In the 2012 Oricon Album Rankings, "I Am Gille" was the top selling artist in Japan for any debut artist.Having written theme songs for nationally broadcast television dramas and the international Tourism Expo Japan, Gilles career as a performer and song writer has blossomed. Since her debut she has performed in locations all over Japan in venues ranging from intimate acoustic clubs to huge outdoor summer festivals, jazz events to Tokyo One Way, Tokyo Girls Collection and other fashion events. Her vocal range and varying performance styles seemingly know no bounds.
