There are special moments in a club when the vibe reaches a climax and you forget time and space, even who you are and where you come from. Ittetsu is a house music producer and DJ out of the ordinary who delivers these special moments through his sophisticated composition and stylish sound.
Ittetsu moved to London in 2004 after attending Steve Bug’s gig at Fabric, London. He felt himself floating in a new dimension and instantly knew what he wanted to do in his life.
His first release was Voices EP published on Four:Twenty Recordings under the name Tomoki & Nono. The track Voices obtained a huge success in the underground scene making him well known among industry people.
DJs such as Luke Salomon, Satoshi Tomiie, Ken Ishii and Jim Rivers, to name few, included his tracks in their DJ Sets and invited him to collaborate on their further productions.
Since then Ittetsu has released tracks on prestigious labels: Global Underground, Nite Grooves Records and SAW Recordings.
With his friend Jun Akimoto (Fasten Musique Concrete) he started the project Jun & Ittetsu, creating an organic hybrid of the tech house sound which appealed to important labels like Welt, Resopal, Metroline and soon gained huge support from established DJs such as Nima Gorji, Anthony Collins, Italoboyz and Kevin Griffith.
In July 2008 he created the alternative house project Nono which led him to express himself more experimentally. Later that year he scored a number one hit on Beatport’s deep house chart with the track “3 Years” by Tomoki & Nono (Manuel Tur Remix) which gained him an enormous amount of public attention boosting his name among club promoters throughout London. His last work is a remix for Ali Kuru’s EP out on the 11 Jan 2010 on Beatport.
