marc_0 (marc zero) was born and raised in Rome (Italy) from Italian father and Japanese mother.
This lucky genetic combination made him successful in many many ways through the years as he could absorb the key elements of both cultures and learn how to use this gift.
In fact he spend quiete an impressive amount of time studying his favorite DJs and productions by analyzing their sound with extreme precision (Japanese side) while being very passionate, friendly and energetic on stage (Italian side).
His relationship with music started during childhood at age 5 by taking piano lessons from his mother (a piano teacher).
He then moved to electric/acoustic guitar during high school fashinated by the popularity of bands like "Guns n'Roses" or "Metallica" and practiced a lot on riffs and solos everyday.
By the late 90's he embraced the new wave of electronic music bands such as "The Prodigy", "The Chemical Brothers" and "Massive Attack" to name a few.
By moving to Japan (Tokyo) in 2001 he soon started listening to trance DJs a lot especially superstar Netherland DJs such as "Ferry Corsten", "Tiesto" and "Armin van Buuren".
Due to lack of trance events in Japan he started DJing himself after several years of passionate listening to all major trance releases and Ferry Corsten's weekly radio show "Corsten's Countdonw"
A few years lates Techno became rapidly his favorite style since trance evolved into a more commercial sound similar to the current in vogue sound (electro/EDM).
Finally during recent years he had the change to attend many techno events in Japan such as "Wire", "Big Beach Festival", "Mother" and "Sterne".
He never missed a release of his favorite DJs ("Egbert", "Secret Cinema", "Adam Beyer", "D-Nox"...) and labels ("Gem Records", "CLR", "Drumcode"...) and loves to discover more and more.
