Sam began learning piano at the age of 8 & started making compilation tapes from the radio at the age of 9. When he was 18, after also playing saxophone, drums & guitar, Sam was growing tired of the hassles of practising with a band, so he began to develop an interest in electronic music. While exploring the wide range of sounds being produced by new technologies, he found it difficult to find the music he wanted to hear at clubs & parties, so he began to DJ at the age of 19. Almost 10 years later, he's played at everything from the smallest freak shows to some of the largest alternative festivals in Australia, becoming notorious for his eclectic taste & delicate palate. After organising a range of events, large & small, in Australia, a relationship with Japan's D. A. T. Mafia was formed. Since he moved to Tokyo in the summer of 2007, he's regularly appeared at their parties.
