In 1991, OBA-P began his career as a selector. In late 2000, he unexpectedly joined the big event SESSION IMPOSSIBLE at Bayside Jenny in Osaka, which led to the formation of the group with ROBIN.
Starting from 2001, they began full-scale activities, quickly gaining recognition as Japan's first digital 'CD' juggling sound system. They performed at numerous shows by international artists, participated as special guests in Ketsumeishi’s nationwide tours, and are said to have played at one of the highest numbers of domestic and international events in the history of Japanese reggae.
Now, they continue to excite the dancehall scene through various platforms, including YouTube and live streaming, establishing themselves as a unique sound that is unmatched.
The music label YARDCORE ENTERTAINMENT, run by STEREO CRAVA, has continued to release big tunes, starting with their first single “EVERYBODY GO SO / OBA-P & HOLY & MILO” in 2010, and continues to do so to this day. In parallel, OBA-P also began activities as a DeeJay. All riddims are produced by ROBIN, who leads MODERN ON DISCO.
