『MEiYOU史上もっとも遠いポイントへと向かう旅』

ハードテクノ/トランスとトライバルサウンドの混合と、それがもたらす暖色の高揚感を追求してきたMEiYOU。コンセプトに沿いながら、徹底した出音主義と技術主義、そして何よりも精神の越境を目指したキュレーションは、ハードかつディープでありながらも一種の愛嬌をともなう独自の空間を描いてきた。今回は、その総決算とも言えるような、平日とは思えないほどの強力なラインナップで、MEiYOUおよび、レーベル〈TOTEM TRAXX〉のポテンシャルを完全解放させる。
香港を拠点に活動する電子音楽家Dyedと、イギリス出身のサイケデリックトランスのプロデューサー Sinister DexterによるサイケライヴユニットEKI-ONEIR-0は、数々の野外フェスや大型トランスイベントのピークタイムを任されてきた。〈TOTEM TRAX〉のコンピレーションに提供されたトラック「Runner 22」でも、エレクトロニクスが三次元的に飛び交うトリッピーな音像が繰り広げられている。スタート時からMEiYOUをサポートしてきたDAIJIROは、今回、自身のアンダーグラウンドパーティDIGITALBLOCKのクルー、CHOKOとのユニットでの登壇が決まっている。さらに、ハイデジタルかつフィジカルな構築で、現行サイトランスシーンで際立つDJ EMIRIや、深化の止まることを知らない孤高Ko Umehara、特異なトラックをグルーヴで飼いならすKojiro、そして、MEiYOUクルーで山川ダンスサークルの主催者TARZANの帰還など、シーンの中で傑出したタレントが1フロアで交わる。
MEiYOUのプライオリティの高さを支えているのは主催DO SHOCK BOOZEであることは紛れもなく、有機的な素材でビルドさせる巨大な音楽建築は、毎度のようにオーディエンスをその日の最高到達点へと導いてきた。今回のラインナップとの音楽交換と競うような高め合い、臨海を臨む未体験への旅を期待せずにはいられない。ストイックに終夜踊り明かす解放の祝祭、DO SHOCK BOOZEのバースデイバッシュが出音全開でスタートだ。

「Journey to the farthest point in MEiYOU's history」

MEiYOU has been pursuing to create a sense of exaltation through the warm colors brought out by the mixture of hard techno/trance and tribal sounds. Following their concept, principles in technique and the output of sound with a curation that aims to go beyond the borders of one’s mind, they’ve managed to create a unique space with a charm. This edition fully tests the potential of MEiYOU and its label〈TOTEM TRAXX〉with a strong lineup too good for a weeknight.
The psychedelic live unit EKI-ONEIR-0, consisting of Hong Kong-based electronic musician Dyed and psychedelic trance producer Sinister Dexter from England, has played peak time for countless festivals and large-scale trance parties. Their track「Runner 22」, a track they contributed to 〈TOTEM TRAX〉compilation, perfectly captures their 3-dimensional and trippy sonic frequencies. DAIJIRO, who’s supported MEiYOU since the beginning, will be playing with CHOKO, a resident of his underground party DIGITALBLOCK. In addition, outstanding acts within the scene such as DJ EMIRI, a rising figure in the current pystrance scene, Ko Umehara, who knows no boundaries, Kojiro, the groove manipulator with unique tracks, andTARZAN, a MEiYOU crew and organizer of 山川ダンスサークル (Yamakawa Dance Circle) making his return, will gather in 1 dance floor.
DO SHOCK BOOZE, the organizer who holds high priority in supporting MEiYOU, has always guided the audience to the highest point by building a massive sonic architecture with organic sounds. The lineup for this occasion will be a journey to uncharted territories. DO SHOCK BOOZE’s birthday bash is bound to be a liberating celebration in full throttle from the start.
