5月のPolynasiaは、ベルリン/ポーランドから一時帰国する世界的著名なDJ/Track MakerのShingo Suwaを再び招聘。昨年11月の日本帰国以来、都内では約半年ぶりに渋谷のWhite Space Labにてロング・プレーを披露。また、同じくベルリンより一時帰国中のKeishi Akashiを招致。Akashi氏は東京・福生の老舗クラブEddie’sでスタッフとしても勤務した後、2023年にベルリンへ移住。現地のバー・クラブでのプレイを重ねながら「Refuge World Wide」や「HÖR」といった配信プラットフォームにも出演。今若手のホープとして注目を浴びる存在であり、卓越したプレイでSuwa氏の前にフロアを創り込む。

Polynasia in May will once again invite Shingo Suwa, a world-renowned DJ/Track Maker who is returning to Japan from Berlin/Poland. Since returning to Japan in November last year, he will perform a long set at White Space Lab in Shibuya for the first time in about half a year in Tokyo. Also invited is Keishi Akashi, who is also returning to Japan from Berlin. Akashi worked as a staff member at the long-established club Eddie's in Fussa, Tokyo, before moving to Berlin in 2023. While playing at local bars and clubs, he also appears on distribution platforms such as "Refuge World Wide" and "HÖR". He is currently attracting attention as a young hope, and will create a floor in front of Suwa with his outstanding play.

Shingo Suwaは日本出身のDJ／プロデューサーで、現在はベルリンとポーランドに在住している。音楽一家に生まれ育ち、幼少期から父親のジャズレコードや80年代後半のヒップホップ黄金期の影響を強く受ける。90年代には、日本のクラブカルチャーが最盛期を迎える中、シカゴ・ハウスやデトロイト・テクノに出会い、エレクトロニック・ミュージックの世界へと傾倒。多様なバックグラウンドを持つそのスタイルは、幅広く表現力豊かなDJセットにも反映されている。ベルリンのTresor、about_blankといったクラブに幾度も出演し、過去about_blankで開催されていたButtonsのレジデントDJとしても活躍。自身のレーベルMerkur Schallplattenと、
Akirahawksとの共同レーベルHouse Mannequinから合計15枚以上のヴァイナルEPを発表し、
現在はより国際的な展開へと活動を広げている。まもなくリリース予定の新作は、アメリカ西海岸の「Acid Camp Records」から発売予定で、The Bunker NYのClay Wilson、デトロイトのInterdimensional Transmissionsから盟友かつグルーヴマスターことJasen Lovelandとのコラボ作品となっている。

Shingo Suwa is a Japanese DJ/producer currently residing in Berlin and Poland. Born and raised in a musical family, he was strongly influenced by his father's jazz records and the golden age of hip-hop in the late 80's. In the 90's, he discovered Chicago House and Detroit Techno at the height of Japanese club culture, and gravitated towards the world of electronic music. His diverse background is reflected in his wide-ranging and expressive DJ sets. He has appeared many times at clubs such as Tresor and about_blank in Berlin, and was a resident DJ at Buttons, which was held at about_blank in the past. With his own label Merkur Schallplatten,
He has released over 15 vinyl EPs on his own label, Merkur Schallplatten, and on the House Mannequin label with Akirahawks,
He is currently expanding his activities internationally. His new album, to be released soon on Acid Camp Records on the West Coast, is a collaboration with Clay Wilson of The Bunker NY and Jasen Loveland, an ally and groove master from Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions. 10代からベーシストとしてロック/ファンク/ジャズ等の音楽をプレイし、DJ活動を開始後は地元東京・福生の老舗クラブEddie’sでスタッフとしても勤務。2023年にベルリンへ移住し、現地のバー・クラブでのプレイを重ねながらRefuge World WideやHÖRといった配信プラットフォームにも出演。ブカレスト・TONやベルリン・migasといったリスニング系のベニューでも選曲を担当するなど、没入感のある音楽体験とダンスグルーヴの両立を日々探求している。2025年には自身初となるEP “Tono”をリリースし、楽曲制作にも注力中。

He has been playing rock, funk, jazz, and other music since his teens as a bassist, and after starting his DJ career, he also worked as a staff member at Eddie's, a long-established club in his hometown of Fussa, Tokyo.
