But for the the Canadian-British-American Triad Villain, a group whose hard and funky aesthetic easily straddles the boundaries of rock and house, their upcoming Paradis Roppongi gig is just another stop on the musical express to Tokyo's electro-consciousness.

Villain have hit a sweet spot in music fan's taste which lends itself extremely well to live shows. If more electronic acts knew how to harness rock fans' zeal and dance fan's penchant for booty-shaking there would be a lot more sold out shows in Tokyo's small venues like Paradis.
