8月16日、17日の2日間にわたりQVCマリンフィールド＆幕張メッセと大阪 舞洲サマーソニック大阪特設会場にて開催される「SUMMER SONIC 2014」、8月15日、幕張メッセにて開催されるサマーソニックの前夜祭イベント「SONICMANIA」の追加出演アーティストが発表された。

まずはサマソニ前夜を彩るSONICMANIAには、昨年に引き続きサカナクションの出演が決定した。

そして、サマソニには浜田麻里、the HIATUS、KANA-BOON、森高千里 with tofubeatsの4組が決定。浜田麻里とKANA-BOONは幕張公演のみの出演となる。
