The meeting of two Riddim obsessives, separated by 4,500 miles and brought together by a shared love of bass, rum and parties, Jus Now is the vibrant and exhilarating fusion of Trinidadian Soca rhythms with the sub heavy sound of the UK Underground.
Sam Interface is a versatile Drum and Bass producer who has collaborated with the likes of DJ DIE, TC and Eddie K, on releases and remixes for esteemed labels such as Shogun Audio, Clear Skyz, Hospital and Metalheadz. Lazer Beam is a well-known percussionist and producer in Trinidad, who has toured the world spreading the Trini carnival fever and established himself as a producer by remixing the likes of L-Vis 1990 and Major Lazer.
The pair met by chance through a mutual friend in Bristol in 2010, whilst Lazer Beam was visiting from Trinidad. He professed his love for UK Bass music and the shared passion led to a studio jam session. Sometime later the favour was returned, with Interface spending a month in Trinidad and experiencing the world famous carnival.
