Having no musical background or formal teaching, Sri-Lankan born Londoner Suren Seneviratne aka My Panda Shall Fly had gone through many an incarnation until he found where he was comfortable - from shoe-gaze, post-rock in his early teens to sound manipulation and experimentation in his later years. Coming from a formal Fine Art background, My Panda Shall Fly went on to release his debut EP on Dam Mantle's Growing Records & Wichita Recordings - which saw incredible support from the likes of Pitchfork, Dazed Digital, Clash Magazine, XLR8R, The Fader, The Independent, Dummy Mag & more. Following that came an onslaught of incredible remixes for the likes of The Weeknd, Fink, Psychologist, Terror Danjah & Little Boots.
Since 2012, in-between appearances on Rinse FM & Boiler Room, and various festivals like BBC Hackney Weekender, Outlook Croatia & Glade, My Panda Shall Fly has released a plethora of truly eclectic material, avoiding genre confinements along the way and proving difficult to define in every sense.
