Started in pirate radio in the 80s, worked on UK's first Hip-Hop radio show on LBC, toured with The Shamen for 2 years, wrote for the NME, made 3 great albums for Rising High Records, became the Ambient Ambassador, wrote monthly diaries, for Mixmag, presented The Chill Out Zone on Kiss FM. Signed to Ninja Tune, made another Irresistible Force album and lots of remixes. Lots of Mix CDs including The Morning After, Abstract Funk Theory and God Bless The Chilled.
Came to Japan first in 1993 to play at Mooky's night 'Eden In The Sky' at Yellow. Liked it so much I've been coming back ever since. Played at the legendary Rainbow 2000 party at Mt Fuji. Made an album with Jonah Sharp at YMO's Tokyo studio for Hosono's label Daisyworld. Done shows across Japan from Okinawa to Sapporo. Resident Chillout advisor at the Mother SOS party in Nagano every August. 2009 released mix CD Calm Down My Selector, through Wakyo Records.
