A long time resident of Kansai, Do or Die began his foray into Tokyo nightlife world as a promoter and event organizer. After working with many of Tokyo most famous DJ's, his love for music compelled him to take the plunge and begin spinning himself. Do or Die began his DJ career as most do, rocking the dance floor with killer house remixes of popular song. However after tasting the forbidden fruits that are Dubstep and Trance, he decided to embrace his inner demons and create a unique style that is rare in the Tokyo clubbing scene.

Outside of the club, Do or Die is a future PhD. candidate at Sophia University. He is currently in the middle of the preliminary research for his dissertation titled “No Dancing!” As a researcher, he is conducting an ethnographic study of the Roppongi nightlife scene. He seeks to explore the illegality of the space and how rules and social norms as well as the boundaries of what is considered acceptable conduct warp within the context of the area in ways they do not in Shibuya and other popular nightlife scenes.

Known as the Dubstep king of the international clubbing scene, Do or Die is sure to bring excitement and drama to any dancefloor.
