Boy Nez aka Nezza embarked on his DJ adventure during the early noughties, starting out with a pair of belt drive turntables, a box full of Drum & Bass records and natural ear for great music. However he first began taking DJing and promoting more seriously at university, after turning his campus nightclub (well known for playing the latest pop hits), into something that resembled a warehouse rave in the mid 90s.
After a few years on the underground scene experimenting with different forms of dance music, playing alongside some of the biggest names on the scene, he stumbled across deep house for the first time and has never looked back since. He spent the next few years driving the sound from a minority of fans to the wider masses in clubs and bars around London, which included residencies at the venue formerly know as Cafe Society and regular sets at Bar Evissa.
Slightly disillusioned by the lack of promoters willing to push clubbing to new levels, he took a short hiatus from DJing. However in early 2013 he was introduced to two inspiring party promoters / up and coming DJs (Annabel and Nicola aka the Violent Blondes), who had set up their own exclusive event production bran...
