80年代初めより日本のストリートダンス界をリードする存在。
TV番組「ダンス ダンス ダンス」をきっかけに国民的人気を得る。
BE-BOP CREW、TRFを経て現在はSound Cream Steppersとして各シーンで活躍中。
また、ゲストコリオグラファー、ジャッジ、インストラクターとしてアジア各国(タイ、台湾、韓国)に招聘される機会も多く活動している。
DJとしても活動中。
Yuki has been dancing since the early '80s, when street dance first made its appearance. With fellow performers HORIE and GOTO, he formed a dance unit. Horie and Goto started out performing at Hokoten Street in Harajuku, the birthplace of Japan's hiphop scene, while Yuki started with an original dance group BE-BOP CREW from Fukuoka. In the late '80s, he collaborated with SAM of TRF to form MEGA MIX, and gained national celebrity as a result of his appearances on Fuji TV's "Dance Dance Dance".
His dance style covers all genres, including hiphop and house, etc. In particular, he is ranked among the highest in Japan in the highly improvisational jazz style "bebop", which originated in the 1930s. Among Yuki's numerous claims to fame are his close ties to the legendary London bebop dance group "Brothers in Jazz", and the New York Times' enthusiastic reporting of his overseas performances.
After having been a member of TRF, he went on to form the "SOUND CREAM STEPPERS" in 1993.
