MARCO CAROLA, the host of MUSIC ON, held every Friday and which finished last summer in great fanfare at amnesia, one of the top clubs on the island of Ibiza, Spain’s paradise of music and sun, is coming back to Japan for the first time in 5 years! MARCO CAROLA is also known as techno’s global ambassador. Born in Naples, in the south of Italy, he was responsible for the development of the electronic scene in the early 1990s, spreading Naples’ techno scene all over the world. For the next 20 years, he has remained one of the most respected artists in the techno scene and is widely regarded as the person who established the electronic music genre globally. Famous for his energetic and impressive 3-deck mix style, he has been active as one of the most in-demand artists in the world for the past 20 years. What’s more, VJ elimaginario, who supervises all of MUSIC ON’s residents, lighting and video commercials, will be participating from Ibiza. Additional production support will come from the SUNNY team, which experiences Ibiza’s MUSIC ON every year.
In the Womb Lounge, “S-3,” a joint project by 3 teams at the forefront of the Tokyo party scene, “SPACE FLOWER,” “SLEEPING BAG,” and “SYMPATHY,” will be organized. With the musicality of the Tokyo party scene divided these days, this joint project team S-3 is proposing a new way to play.
