After their incredible beatport.com #1 (remix for Paul Gardner's "Come Get My Lovin'") on Milk & Sugar Rec. there was a huge demand for Plastik Funk putting their hands on productions by other respected artists from all around the world. Meanwhile, the duo decided to concentrate on their own singles and launched some impressive smasher into the clubworld. Especiall "Everybody Dance Now 2011". The single could be found in the top positions amongst the leading charts of fifteen countries and even made it into the German single charts (top50).
The great success as producers has lead to the fact that Rafael Ximenez and Mikio are the most
busy house-duo in Germany. Plastik Funk's unique notoriety has kept them in continual high demand. The guys have appeared in almost every country (holding a clubscene) throughout the world. Just in 2011 Plastik Funk was on tour in Thailand, Russia, Luxembourg, Brasil, Slovenia, England, Ireland, China, Poland, USA, Greece, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Turkey, Austria, Spain, Croatia, Ukraine, Panama, Columbia and Germany of course.
Releasing mainly on their homebase imprint „Tiger Records“ who helped them become Germany‘s #1 single act (according to the Deutsche Dance Charts), they also punched out some cooperations with the likes of Lissat & Voltaxx, Chris Montana, Richard Grey or Gabriel & Castellon on labels like „Stealth“, „Hotfingers“ or „CR2“, 2012 has just begun.
