With the goal of making content easier to find, and on the very day of it's 9th anniversary, 77hz completely renews the public, front-end of iFLYER with a new simplified structure and a completely responsive design. This is the much anticipated version 6 release.

Responsive Design

The new top page of iFLYER features continuously updated hot news and recommended events. It's also easier to find trending articles, hot topics, the latest event reports, and other popular content. The design and readability of the event, artist, venue and other profile pages has been greatly simplified. Finally, the different sites for mobile, tablet and PC have been merged into a unified, simple responsive design which automatically adjusts to best fit content into the screen space it has available.

When asked about the change, Malek Nasser, CEO and co-founder of 77hz said:

"The old site, visually speaking, no longer reflected the actually tastes of the people using it, and what they were doing with it on a daily basis. Our media, namely the news and features, now accounts for more than 50% of the traffic on iFLYER. So instead of hiding this as a secondary feature, we just let it come out to the forefront where it belonged. This, then naturally flows into our social and ticket marketing engine. It just makes so much more sense."

Easier to Use New Features

1) Calendar View — Simply selecting a day from the calendar displays list of all events on that day.

2) Recommendations — In order to help shift through the increasingly large amount of content, iFLYER has added a new, simplified version of STAR*d which manifests in the form of a heart. Tapping on the heart next to an artist or event tells iFLYER that this is something you are interested in and it will try to make it easier for you to find later. It also uses this to help best customize your overall experience.

The events you've liked by tapping the hearts, and other events you might be interested in will also show up in the suggested tab creating a personalized calendar.

3) Purchased Tickets — Purchased tickets are now very easily found from the tickets tab.

4) Near Me — Find bars and hot events that are happening near you in real time.

Please try it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
