As we mentioned on iFLYER the moment the big news slayed all over Japan, next year Electric Daisy Carnival is coming to Tokyo.
EDC: The carnival of lights and music electrifying the EDC community. All of our Tokyo fans can’t wait to be a part of this amazing moment!
Although the lineup hasn’t been released yet, Insomniac recently made a short movie called ‘EDM Parking Lot’ that was surprisingly inspired by the heavy metal music genre.
The whole concept is to ask random questions about EDC to those ravers and dancers at the parking lot who come from various places all over the world to experience the madness at EDC.
Road tripping to EDC must be on one of our bucket lists. As these people say they have travelled by car all the way from Chicago, Alaska, Nebraska, San Diego, Hawaii, Conneticut and California.
To the question ‘What are you looking forward to most?’
This guy answered Flux Pavillion, Yellow Claw, Martin Garrix and mostly Galantis.
This couple agreed on Above & Beyond and Fat Boy Slim.
Others shouted out their favorites from Armin Van Buuren to Carnage to Hardwell. This clearly shows how every individual embraces a favorite artist or music genre and that at EDC diversity is welcomed with so much love.
As we can see from this girl rocking her disclosure jacket festival-goers put all the DIY glam to show their status of an artist appretiation.
Others dressed up as butterflies which would totally rock in photos with a sunset shot. But we cannot forget the KANDI presence especially at EDC. From EDC carousels to three year KANDI collections the PLUR attitude embedded into these pieces of jewelery show an amazing social aspect of the whole festival.
The video swirls up with dance moves from Oliver Helden’s special shuffling to Silento’s ‘watch-me-whip-whip-watch-me-nae-nae’. Just letting yourself free with the music in the light buzzling Las Vegas Motorway, it is just impossible to not make yourself dance. Whether its hands up in the air, point and popping, neck bopping, rave mastering, hair swinging or the occassional fist pumps.
