Following that he established his own label, Kasaya Recordings, and released his next album "Ashes" in 2016 as a free download on it. "Ashes" reached #6 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Album chart, and #19 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart.

That same year he broke onto the scene with his smash remix of THE CHAINSMOKERS hit "Don't Let Me Down" which, at the time of this writing has an astronomical 410 million+ plays.
   
It was just last year at EDC that ILLENIUM made his first appearance in Japan, and he is currently making his way around the globe headlining shows and performing at other first class festivals. It's becoming quite clear that he is on the fast track to becoming one of the top producers worldwide.
